A qualified doctor visits the hostel every day to look after the health of the students. Students requiring special care and treatment are sent to Birla Sarvajanik Hospital and the Eye Hospital for eye ailments. Besides this, regular routine medical, check up is carried out for all students every year. A trained and qualified nurse is incharge of the sick room and she works under the advice of the school doctor. She is available round the clock and resides in the near vicinity of the sick room to look after the sick students.
There is an isolation room in which any student suffering from any infectious disease is kept.
For all minor ailments for which the children are admitted to the school sickroom the parents are not informed. However, the parents are informed of the illness of their daughter / ward only when the child is admitted to Sarvajanik Hospital for three days. Under these conditions of illness the girls can be sent to their Local Guardians if authorized by the parents. The admission to the school sick room or hospital is as per the advice of the school Doctor.
